Sultanahmet and the Old City
Spend the day within walking distance in Sultanahmet: Topkapı Palace, the Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum, the Istanbul Archaeological Museums, and the Basilica Cistern are all close together.
Day 2
The Bosphorus, Galata, and Beyoğlu
Take a ferry across the Bosphorus for the view back at the Old City skyline, then explore Galata Tower and İstiklal Avenue in Beyoğlu.
